PCCare Premium[TM]

How does it work?

PCCare does the work so you can focus on what matters most to you. By bringing essential PC management and maintenance tasks together and running them under one automated "umbrella" it saves you the work of running these tasks manually.  You will no longer need to keep track of the multiple single-function utilities and tools that are needed to keep your PC systems reliable and stable.

PCCare has a user interface, or set of control and reporting screens, that allows you to change automation schedules and settings and view the results of automated maintenance tasks. This lets you interact, simply and clearly, with a number of different tools without having to do a lot of complex configuration or know a lot about what is going on inside these tools.

It also has an engine that runs task automation and management, keeps track of results, and communicates what PCCare is doing and has done for your computer. PCCare runs in the background of your computer so that it does not interfere with your use of the computer.

Once you install PCCare, you can forget about it. Simply install PCCare on your system and it takes care of the rest.  PCCare is on the job all the time, and helps you reduce or eliminate preventable problems associated with a lack of consistent management or maintenance. PCCare ensures that your system stays healthier and performs better.   Thus, when you do need help, it is in order to leverage your system, not just to keep it healthy.

Key maintenance tasks are pre-scheduled to run so you can install it and it runs automatically. For your convenience, if you would like to change the schedule of automated tasks, simply click on the "PCCare Settings" tab and use the scheduler windows that are provided. To minimize the impact PCCare has on your use of the PC, you can schedule maintenance tasks to run when you are not using your PC. The PC does have to be left on when tasks are set to run.

You may notice that PCCare pauses and seems to be "working" after you change a setting; this is because the engine is busy recognizing and updating to the changes you have made. PCCare is private and secure - as a managed service, there is a back end that allows additional automated management support and provides updates, but it does NOT track your system activity, report your use, or perform any other invasive behaviors.
