How to create a new PCCare desktop icon

In the case where you choose not to install a desktop icon, but need it to interface with the PCCare Program, the following steps will guide you through the process.

• Right Click anywhere on the desktop
• Select NEW
• Select Shortcut
• In the Command Line text entry box enter C:\Program Files\pccare\client\ui.url
• Click Next
• in the Select a Name for the shortcut text entry box enter PCCare Premium
• Click Finish
• Right click the new shortcut
• Select Properties
• click on change icon
• in the File Name text entry box, enter C:\program files\pccare\client\cust.exe
• there may be a choice of options, please choose the PCCare Logo (face with red cap)
• Click [OK]

Congratulations, you have created a new desktop shortcut to launch the PCCare Premium Interface

In case of an error, you may right click the icon and delete it. you will only delete the shortcut, the program and all files will still be installed, running and protecting your PC.
