How do I navigate through PCCare™ screens and menus?

Tabs

There are four (4) main file-folder tabs. Simply click on the folder-tab you wish.

PCCare Status	This is the main view. The status of the main tasks are shown; you may easily view the details for specific tasks from this view.
PCCare Settings	Each task has a default schedule so you do not need to change anything. If you do wish to change the time that a functional task or group of tasks execute, you have full flexibility to do so.
PCCare Help	Help includes Frequently Asked Questions (these pages) How do I use PCCare™? What is it/why do I need it? complete help information for all tasks and functions and information on obtaining phone/email and eSupport
Update/Upgrade	This provides information about updating your PCCare™ Premium product as new featuires and releases are available. PCCare Premium is a fully managed service that runs over a secure internet connection that manages and maintains your computer on a regular basis.

Logos

There are three (3) logos that serve as quick-reference navigation aids. These navigation aids are called Hyper Text Links that direct your browser to a specific location on the Internet. Click once on the Logo to navigate to the page you want.

Please note: selecting any of these logos will instruct your browser to connect to a new web site. Your browser may do one of the following:

Use the same browser window, causing you to leave PCCare
Open a new browser, leaving you with two browsers: one with PCCare and the other with the webpage you select
Open a new TAB (Netscape, Mozilla) leaving you with one browser with two open windows, one still running PCCare and the other open to the website you select. You will either need to use the browser <-Back key or other navigation to return back to the PCCare view you had before selecting the Logo

Digiticians Logo	Located in the upper left corner of every page, this link will direct your browser to the home page of the Digiticians, creators and sellers of PCCare Premium. Go here to review other Digiticians PCCare offerings as they become available.
Digiticians PCCare Premium	Located in the upper right corner of every page, this link will direct your browser to the Digiticians PCCare Premium web pages where update and upgrade information will be available. Go here to check for and update to newer versions of PCCare Premium.
The Digiticians	Located on the lower left corner of every page, this link will direct your browser to the Digiticians home web page. Go here to discover more about Digiticians' offerings.

Located in the upper left corner of every page, this link will direct your browser to the home page of the Digiticians, creators and sellers of PCCare Premium. Go here to review other Digiticians PCCare offerings as they become available.

Located in the upper right corner of every page, this link will direct your browser to the Digiticians PCCare Premium web pages where update and upgrade information will be available. Go here to check for and update to newer versions of PCCare Premium.

Located on the lower left corner of every page, this link will direct your browser to the Digiticians home web page. Go here to discover more about Digiticians' offerings.

Sub-navigation banner

Located directly under the folder tabs you will see a line with three (3) entries. Click one of these items to navigate directly to the view and change settings page for the logical functional group (see view status) you have selected.

Security Management	Navigates directly to the view and change settings table for the Run Anti-Virus Software and Update Anti-Virus Definitions functions. As more PC security functions and tasks are added, they will be represented on this task bat. See the PCCare Premium Help page: What is it?/Why do I need it? help for Anti-Virus Software management
Disk, Folder and File Management	Navigates directly to the view and change settings table for the Internet Folder Cleanup, Scan Disk /CHKDSK and Defragment Hard Drive functions. See the PCCare Premium Help page: What is it?/Why do I need it? help for Disk, Folder and file Maintenance.
System Integrity Management	Navigates directly to the view and change settings for the Correct System Clock and Software Change Monitor functions. See the PCCare Basic Help page: What is it?/Why do I need it? help for System Integrity Management.

See Details

From any of the task lines in the Status/Summary Dashboard, click the See Details link to navigate directly to the task execution details for the last time the task was executed. The table is organized so that all like functions (logically grouped functions) are displayed together.

Return to top

From the View Details Tables, this will return you to the main Dashboard view.

From the View and Change settings tables for Disk, Folder and File Maintenance, or System Integrity Maintenance, this will return you to the top of the View and change settings page. This is also the Security Management view.

How Do I Use PCCare

From the Help page, this will open these help files. Please note these help files will be displayed outside of the PCCare application; PCCare Premium will still be running and viewable, but you will be reading these in a different Browser, browser Tab or Help window. Simply close this Help or use the Windows navigation tray, or the [Alt] [tab] keys to swap between this help and PCCare. Close the window to terminate this help session.

Email

From the help page, this will instruct your computer's regular email program to generate an email addressed to Email to PCCare Premium Help for an answer to your questions. You are still required to enter your name, phone number and a problem statement. This should be used for specific PCCare issues, not general computer problems.

PCCare eSupport

This will lead to the PCCare Premium-specific section of Digiticians web site and allow the subscriber to initiate a Web-based remote support session. Your computer will be connected to a service queue, one of our trained Digiticians will come on line and assist in the diagnosis and repair of your PCCare application. Please note: this service is set up for the PCCare Premium application only.

Bottom-navigation banner

Located at the bottom of every page, these duplicate the functionality of the Folder Tab navigation Controls listed above. Please read the TAB navigation help at the top of this page for details.
