Running PCCare™ under Netscape® 8.0 browser.

Netscape browser version 8.0 supports both the Mozilla FireFox and Microsoft Internet Explorer.   This new browser must have the local webserver listed as a “trusted site” in order for PCCare™ to execute. 

If the local site is not listed as a trusted site, you may be prompted for a password.  In this case, please follow these instructions.

• Click on the shield above and to the right of the tab reading PCCare™ Dashboard or PCCare™ Settings.

• Rollover reads Open Site Controls

• Change the Browser setting from “I’m not sure” to “I trust this site”
• Then click Done (lower right).

The Shield will change to a shield with a check mark in it 

Please note as a consequence of choosing “I Trust This Site” that Netscape will prefer to use the internet explorer rendering engine to display the PCCare™ pages.
