PCCare Premium[TM]

Why can't I see the PCCare desktop icon?

The PCCare desktop icon is installed on the desktop of the user (typically an administrator) who installed PCCare. The service is running for all users but only the person logged in during the installation will be able to use the interface.

Many PC services actuate with only the administrator being able to change settings. The program is protecting your system according to either the default or administrator modified schedule. If you have PCCare installed and are not a system administrator, please ask you Admin to help you change settings as needed.

During installation, the program asks if you wish to display a desktop icon or not. The default (and recommended setting) is to display the desktop icon. It is entirely possible that the person doing the installation selected this option not be installed.

If you feel that you must have access to the PCCare User Interface, please see the help page entitled: How to create a new desktop icon.
