PCCare executes both Scandisk (used on Windows 98 and ME) and CHKDSK (used on Windows NT, 2000 and XP). On Windows 98 and ME systems, you will see a DOS or Command window left on the screen stating that the system did not run CHKDSK and that you should run Scandisk and showing you some statistics for your system. In fact, you have already executed Scandisk (the results are in the PCCare status Dashboard). The older versions of Windows do not close this window automatically.
This is not a problem, in fact it allows you to see the disk storage statistics for your system.
Simply close the window by clicking on the close window control [x] in the upper right corner of the window when you are done with this message.
